FanDuel has revealed a partnership with Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment to provide in-person and digital sports wagering, as well as online casino games.
The collaboration will utilize a new tribal agreement and accompanying legislation in Connecticut that was approved by the state Senate in May. This agreement has been in development since 2019.
If the legislation is enacted, it will authorize online sports betting and other digital gaming services through the state’s two tribal operators, Mohegan and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, which runs Foxwoods.
The Mohegan Tribe previously had an arrangement with DraftKings, which was modified last week. Now, FanDuel will be supplying sports betting services for Mohegan.
