Coolbet is closing its operations in Ontario
The Estonian-based company stated that it intends to shut down all deposit choices for Coolbet accounts beginning March 21st. Coolbet urges users to utilize their remaining funds for gaming services after this date if their account balance is low, or to add funds and withdraw all money.

This is because there will be a minimum deposit amount for withdrawals – the minimum deposit using the Interac payment platform is $1, and the minimum deposit using the Trustly payment platform is $0.01.

“We strongly advise that you withdraw your funds as soon as possible,” Coolbet stated in a message to users. “If you have not made any withdrawals before, we will need you to confirm your bank account used to pay your remaining balance. Once you request a withdrawal, please check your email for additional instructions on how to complete verification.”

The company said it would close its casino and sportsbook at the end of the next day (March 22nd). If players’ bets have not been settled before the deadline because the outcome is still uncertain – including futures and parlays – Coolbet said the bet will be canceled and reimbursed.

Coolbet is shutting down its online platform and mobile application on the 3rd of April. If you have any funds remaining in your account, you must reach out to them via email.

Coolbet was acquired by GAN in January of 2021. GAN paid $175.9 million in cash and shares for the enterprise. GAN stated that this agreement would make them a full-service business-to-business solutions provider in the American gaming industry. They also declared that they would be a rival in some global markets.
