A top-tier gambling software provider, MicroGaming, has finalized the sale of its Quickfire division to Games Global Limited, a gaming supplier. The agreement was initially revealed in November of 2021.
Games Global, established in 2021, specializes in dispersing gaming content to global markets. The firm is led by Walter Bugno, the Chief Executive Officer, and Tim Mickley, the Chief Financial Officer. They are supported by private equity investors.
Bugno previously held leadership positions at IGT and Lottomatica, while Mickley previously worked for SafeCharge and Playtech. Bugno departed his position at IGT in May 2021.
The transaction will provide Games Global with access to Quickfire’s extensive collection of gaming content and its broad customer base.

MicroGaming will now concentrate on providing platform systems for diverse online gaming brands, including Games Global. They will also continue to offer sports betting software services to Betway.
