The Better Collective group has declared its arrival in Massachusetts following the state’s regulatory body’s decision to lift a restriction on affiliate marketing.

Online sports wagering will be permissible in Massachusetts on March 10th. The state has granted licenses to a group of ten sports betting businesses to run online and mobile wagering operations.

The Danish-based Better Collective will enter the Massachusetts market with its Action Network and Vegas Insider brands. The company stated that both brands already attract a considerable amount of traffic from the state.

Mark Pedersen, the chief executive officer of Better Collective US, expressed his approval of the regulator’s decision, stating that it is a positive sign for the company’s future prospects in the state.

“We are delighted to learn that the Massachusetts Gaming Commission has decided to temporarily allow CPA and revenue sharing in Massachusetts,” Pedersen stated.

The legalization will enable Better Collective to provide residents of the state with betting information regarding sports betting providers.

At a public meeting on February 23rd, the Massachusetts Gaming Commission agreed to revise existing wording in its regulations that prohibited affiliate marketing from entering the market. The wording blocked affiliate marketing by prohibiting cost-per-acquisition (CPA) and revenue-sharing arrangements.

Our team is thrilled to be a part of the journey to guide and educate the vast sports fan community in Massachusetts as they embark on their initial foray into the world of online sports wagering.

Massachusetts boasts a rich and successful history in the realm of sports, and we are confident that the future of sports betting will mirror this success.

**Regulatory Adjustments**

The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) has confirmed that they are actively implementing changes to the regulations governing sports betting vendor licenses and sports betting advertising.

These modifications are currently undergoing a period of consultation and are scheduled for a public vote at a meeting on March 23, 2023.
